Yes you are right John, I will throw it out cause he hasn't eaten it yet :-).

Today is the start of my 3rd week and it was only today when I made brownies for friends coming tomorrow that I could have eaten one - I didn't and I wont, but it made me realise that I am not over wanting sweet thing, especially chocolate.

I've lost 4.1kg, a lot of that was fluid though.  I seem to be retaining fluid, especially in my feet and ankles, since I started this.  Saw the dr and he advised me to take a fluid tablet for a couple of days.  So far I've only had one yesterday, it was too late when I saw him today.  Wondering if the fluid retention is part of the detox that some experience.

    Cheers Glen

    Hi

today is the start of my second attempt at this - i started (stupidly) just before easter so it lasted only 4 weeks (easter egg chocolate is my favourite). but this time i am more serious as my weight has spiralled out of control over the last 12 months and nothing is working to lose it. im a serious user of the white stuff and am already having headaches and constant thoughts of food. I am well stocked up but just wanted to ask if we can use any of the recipes on this website while i cut out fructose? in particular the rice malt snaps. they dont use dextrose but do use rice malt syrup. the book says glucose can be an issue while still coming off sugar. rice malt syrup only has 3% glucose but i dont know how the body metabolises the maltose and maltotriose. can someone please tell me if i can eat these during withdrawal like how david used pepsi max or should i just eat cheese and crackers for a while??

    thanks
    Lisa
