    In June 2015 I was 217 lbs. Started sugar free and by the end of the month I was 212 lbs. No effort required. Didn't buy this addiction idea. Just stopped. Then my french cycling holiday. How to avoid sugar in bought foods, restaurant foods etc. How to feed 3,000 calorie rides avoiding sugar. Didn't come up with any answers but largely stuck to my guns and after two weeks I was 204lbs.

    Have stuck to it since and the weight continues to go easily and without dieting. But I can't get the fueling for my bike rides right and it's interfering with my motivation. There must be other endurance sports doers out there who don't do sugar?

    Oh, and I'm a vegetarian but that hasn't made any difference.
