    Hey there

I am on about Day 5 of 'giving up' and up until today had had no issues really, but today I have felt dizzy and nauseous for most of it...  Dizzy to the point of being scared to drive and having to sit down regularly.  Is this normal????

I have eaten some fruit to try to ease the situation as I was worried it may be a blood sugar issue.  I am not dehydrated so I am not sure whether I should be worried or if this is a fairly common thing.

    Any advice is appreciated!

    Janet

Just thought I would update by saying after eating a banana and drinking some water this really didn't get any better.  Then I had some strawberries and cream and hey presto back to normal - I know what to try now - fruit and fruit until some normality returns!

Really didn't expect to feel so bad as I don't consider myself to have a sweet tooth or eat a lot of sugar - I guess somewhere along the line I was wrong!

With being a SAHM to two toddlers, I can't afford big incapacitating dizzy spells!

That's good Janet, I was just about to suggest a banana or a coke zero (which always seems to put some colour back in my face).

I second that Sarah.  I found i needed a way big hit of sweet, so i put mashed pear in my Uncle Toby's porridge, ate a half of a banana (my first in 10 days) with cheese and plain rice crackers, also do the pepsi max trick, drink Liptons Lemon Tea bags or Liptons Green Tea with Jasmin teabags......so far so good.  Hang in there Janet, we can do it!

I also suffered from terrible dizzyness during withdrawals. When I gave up sugar stone fruits were in season and I found a nice juicy peach would settle the dizzyness down. Perhaps try some tin peaches, just a few slices throughout the day and see if that helps?
