Just wondering if anyone had some info on sugar in beer (and wine for that matter). I am a fan of Coopers beer and noticed that on their website they state that a couple of their brands are brewed with no added sugar. Does this mean they are safe to drink ?

In general Beer is safe to drink (from a fructose perspective) ... any fructose used in the brewing is turned into the ethanol (alcohol) in the beer ....

    Cheers

    David.

Does anybody know if there is a wesite to go to get some idea of the sugars in different beers.  I know cider may not be so good, but what about ginger beer?  Montieths in NZ has a beer called summer ale, and it kind of tastes like a cross between beer and ginger beer.  They say it has a hint of honey, but how much is a hint.  I have emailed them directy hopefully I can post it here when they get it to me.
