Hi all, there used to be an app that had a pink doughnut pictured and it gave a list of good, bad and not so good sugars. I can no longer find it and I want to know where maltodextrin stands.
If you search Google/Wikipedia for Fructose and separately for maltodextrin, you will find most of what you need to know. You can even just accept the research that David did to write Sweet Poison Quit Plan, on Page 189. Maltodextrin comprises two molecules of glucose bound together and is therefore OKI Remember it's fructose that you need to avoid, and anything which metabolises as fructose when eaten.
There is a number of tables of goodies and baddies in his book. I keep a photocopy in my handbag to check when shopping. Ditto sweeteners.
Re-post if this doesn't answer your question adequately.
