    Chocolate Brownies

    125 gms melted butter

1.5 cups of dextrose (more or less depending on the desired sweetness)

    1/3 cup of cocoa powder

    2 eggs

    3/4 cup of plain flour

    1/2 tsp baking powder

Pre heat oven to 180 degrees celsius.  Beat together melted butter, dextrose, cocoa and eggs until well blended.  Fold in flour and baking powder (the mixture is quite stiff).  Turn into a greased and baking paper lined 8 inch square cake tin.  Bake for 20 minutes.  It should still be slightly gooey in the middle.

    Yum!!  :)

Thank you for this recipe.  I made it two days ago - I love it, it's nearly all gone but the kids have helped me eat it too.  I did bake mine for 30 minutes because it was so runny in the middle after 20 minutes that there was no way I thought it could be cooked.  Now after eating it I will try cooking it for about 25 minutes.  Does this recipe freeze ok once cut into squares?
