TV Choc Slice - questions

    Has anyone had success with this recipe from the web site - it didn't work too well for me. I wonder whether the dextrose  for the slice and icing should be powder, liquid or one of each? What size tin? (not 118.5cm). Is it only 20g of butter in the icing? Advice would be appreciated.

    I was a bit disappointed with this one too, and would be interested to see what others have done that works.

    I was also a bit disappointed - not with the taste but the recipe seemed to produce a very dry mixture which I managed to flatten into a tin (18.5cms x 28cms being the smallest I had) and bake. I haven't iced it yet - maybe that will improve it!
