I'm on day 2 & doing well. The only withdrawal symptom i'm feeling so far is a huge "tired and weak" feeling around 3-4pm.

Anyway, I was chatting with my mother tonight & mentioned the above. She told me her "health nut friend" thinks I should be doing more research into going sugar free because it's not good for the body to do that. She reckons I need sugar for energy and without it I will become very weak and my immune system will shut down and i'll get sick.

    What a load of rubbish.

Sorry, just had to vent because for some reason it really got to me! lol!

dextrose, glucose or rice malt syrup would have the same effect as the sugar.  When I get like that it usually means I need to eat something, so I'll have a coffee or tea and a small snack and I'm right as rain again.

She's definitely got her wires crossed! Glucose is just what you probably need, fructose obviously not. Good luck!
