Ice Cream

    I  have an icecream maker and I used to make every ice cream imaginable. However, now I can't get the knack of making ice cream with liquid stevia - and there are lots of recipes out there - but mine freezes in the bowl and even stops the beaters turning the bowl. Has anyone else tried to make icecream using stevia? I think it must have a lo freezing point.

    I haven't used stevia but have regularly made the icecteam in David's book with dextrose.  It churns very well and my family actually like it better than the commercial icecreams i used to buy -  and they were "good" brands!

    I bought myself a Yonanna and now make icecream from bananas and whatever other fruit I add.   No added sugar or fat just fruit and is delicious.
