    Hi there,

I am getting all sorts of conflicting info about beer from internet sources about it containing Fructose or not. Some say it does some say it doesn't. Some brewers such as Coopers say they brew some beers without added sugar others with it. I guess even if it doesn't contain Fructose it still contains lots of calories and should be avoided if you are specifically trying to lose weight.

Has anyone done their beer research ?

Hahn Superdry and Superdry 3.5 (both yum)and a number of other 'low-carb' beers have the kioljoule and sugars etc listing on side. Doesn't clarify what sugars, but gives a sugar level nonetheless, and low carb ones seem better. I wish they'd do this with wines/ premixes- all really. There has been some talk of ingedient listing becoming a requirement for alcohol. I think they should.
