    Hi Guys,

I am confessing that I splurged over Christmas after following the sugar free way of eating for many months now and feel terribly disappointed with myself but I found it is really hard when mingling with rellies who have all made all these delicious looking delights to tempt even the strongest amongst us so I am looking forward to the New Year now with resolve.  Wish me luck.

As David says in his book party food is for parties.  It's afterwards if you have the ability to climb back on the wagon, that's when you know you really have the strength to fight the sugar.

    Hi Margaret

I also let myself down a little mine was to much champagne not that I had a lot hadnt being having any alcohol so that let me down a little and I found I too had sugar as you say is hard not to have it when you are eating things people have made.

I though am determined to cut my sugar to as little as possible, it is very hard though with it in everything.

Basically it will be wholesome and no preservatives for me

    Good luck

    Debra

Thanks for your comments and encouragement everyone.  Now that the festivities are all over I am not finding it hard at all.   Had a Snickers Bar during my "dalliance" and when I had finished it I thought to myself that it wasn't as wonderful as I rembered so feel I am on the way to recovery.

    Cheers

    Margaret
