I found someone else who believes fat doesn't make you fat.
    Link here:-

Makes sense to me. I'm going to be getting myself back onto normal milk asap. I will add it gradually, as if I drink it now, it makes me feel a bit nauseous, it's so rich, & I've been drinking skim milk for years now.

Warning about the site, it dos have ads. And he will try & flog you his own stuff, but it still made sense to me, I was a bit skeptical before this, but am now convinced. Not sure why, just am!!!'

    Hi Sylvia
Thanks for the link, very good article.

You could do what my husband does............I buy un homogenized full cream milk.........Pauls organic milk. My husband found it a bit too creamy too so what he does is simply use a bit less of it in his tea.

You can get it in any supermarket. I prefer the un homogenized milk because it is closer to the natural raw milk we all used to drink as children. I would like to get raw milk but it's illegal  in NSW and the nearest health food shop which sells it is too far away. And they got fined for selling "Cleopatra's bath milk" as a drinking milk. "Cleopatra's bath milk" is a raw milk sold for cosmetic purposes but a lot of people do drink it.

By the way, you can put an actual working link in your posts by clicking on "Link" which is up on the far left hand side of the second row of icons at the top of the post you are writing. There is a drop down box with labels in it, the first one says "Insert link". You click on that and get a panel. In the panel, on the left, it has a box which says "insert url or email"

Drop your link in there. Then at the bottom are the words "insert link" you click on that and it puts an active link right in your post!!!

    How good is that?

    cheers

Thanks, Freda, I am aware of that, I just keep on forgetting to use it.
Glad you liked the link, & thanks on the info about the milk. I am shopping tomorrow, at Woollies, I'll see if they have it.

The only un-homoginised milk I have found at Woolies is in 1 lt cartons.  Can't remember the brand, but be careful, they have 2lt plastic bottles, but they are homoginised. (I think it is called Organic, but not sure)
IGA has Barambah organic un-homoginised milk in 2 lt cartons, much cheaper than Woolies.

The bath milks are yummy!!!!! (when you can get them)

thanks for that, Suzanne, I forgot to take the details with me to Woolies, will try IGA for the other one, but my IGA is a very traditional one, not much alternatives to the major brand names. I looked for the Poppy custard powder, no luck, but the Black & Gold is only 3.1 grams of sugar, so I guess as long as I don't go over board with it, i can incorporate it into my regime. I must say, I was aghast at the other brands, one was 8.1 grams of sugar, White Wings, I think it was, the Fioster Clarkes had about 5.3 (I think) ........it was five point something, anyway!!

The un-homoginised milk in Woolies or Coles is Pauls Organic milk. I must see if I can find a big IGA, the only one I know doesn't have the 2 liter alternative un-homoginised milk
    cheers
