Thanks everyone fro your info on Malt Syrup, i will keep mine, we only have alil bit, it is really nice in hot milk.  I bought a jar of the rice malt syrup from coles, good substitute for honey!! It is sweeter, i gave some to DH on toast, he didn;t complain!! I just had a big powwow with my DS (he is an apprentise chef, so the idea of giving up sugar is absolutely ludicrous!!) he really just didn;t get it at all!! LOL Oh well, as my DD said, just wait til you see the results on mum!!  I am jsut so surprised at how long i can get out of a meal now, i had scrambelled (?spelling) egg on 1 toast for b/f at 7am and it lasted me until 1pm......6 hours!! And i could have easy gone longer!! Before giving up sugar i would have been shaking with a sugar low way before that!!!!

Well done, Lisa, doesn't it make you feel really good?  If I were you I'd sit your DS down & ask him just to cut back on these things, sugary soft drinks, fruit juice & dried fruit, and if he can, on the really sugary desserts. Tell him it would make you feel better to know he wasn't poisoning himself! Better still, leave the book around & maybe he will read it, (that's if you don't think asking to read it would work) hehe Or, another brainstorm, you could put the evidence on his (or yours) computer, then ask him to come read it. haha.......I mean, there's so much evidence out there about fructose & sugar, you just have to google sugar or fructose & it's so easy to find it.

As I was stuck at 14 kilos down, I have now gone another step further & started on the leptin reset regime. We have all been talking about it on the Sweet Poison forum, you may have seen it. I was amazed after only 2 days, I got weighed & had lost 2 kilos. I thought it was just a fluke, but yesterday I weighed again & had lost another kilo. To say I am stoked is, well, just the understatement of the year. Am now 17 kilos down, Yay!!  I know I shouldn't show off, but just had to tell someone!!

The Rice Malt Syrup is nice, isn't it. I had cut out my porridge, but was persuaded by Bron to have a go with the syrup, and loved it. I have a little Muesli on top & cream. I put a little Rice Malt in the bowl, then the porridge & stir, then add the rest, with a tiny bit more syrup on to. Yummy..............
Good Luck on your journey, you will show him!!
