Hi there, just wanting to know about Southern Comfort, I usually drink it with Diet Coke and want to know if it is fructose free ??? I am a newbie to all this (3rd day).  So far no problem.  I would think I should stay of the spirits for about a month.  I have had a glass of white wine each night though.  Be interested to know about Southern Comfort.

    Hello Susan and welcome
Southern Comfort is quite sweet, therefore it has sugar in it and therefore wouldn't be fructose free. David did say that liqueur drinks are a no no.
In time, with being sugar free, you will lose the taste for sweet drinks and will find SC too sweet for you. Also, with artificial sweeteners, they are not at all healthy anyway and have the same effect on insulin in our bodies as sugar, they raise it and make us want to eat more.
If you can replace your drink with something else.............I have soda water with a squeeze of lemon, which satisfies me, but you will, I'm sure find your own replacement.
    cheers
