Home brew shops sell dextrose, just check that what you are buying is pure dextrose as some products are called "Brewing sugar" some have fructose or sucrose added.

dont go to a supermarket to get dextrose powder , go to a speciality home brewing shop i paid this morning $5 per/kg though you use more in volume of instance 2 heaped tablespoons in a bowl of porrage is not to sweet.
