I'm trying to work my way through the minefield of nutritional information panels.  Is there a rough rule of thumb about how many grams of sugar/100g is too much for a product?

Or is that impossible because it depends on the quantity of the product consumed?  (I'm giving myself leeway of about 10g of sugar a day, so that I don't have to make absolutely everything I eat).

Lara ... Try to eat only foods with 3g/100 or less of sugar on the label (except for dairy which has 5g per 100g of lactose which is fine).

    Cheers

    David.
