    Hello Fellow Sweet Poisoners,

This morning I put one Sugarine in my black tea and I could barely drink it as it was soooo sweet, an overnight sensation as last night's tea was ok with the one tablet, so for my second cup I put half a tablet in and that was ok so I am weaning myself right off them much to my delight.

I am so enjoying this journey and reading all the comments.

This is good news! I remember when I gave up sugar in my coffee, in my early 20s, I did it by giving up half a teaspoon at a time. Once I got used to the taste of it not being there, I never went back. It's funny, because now I can sniff sugar in coffee, so I never get the wrong one. Michelle

I'm with you Margaret.  I use a stevia blend sweetner and have gone from a teaspoon in tea to a couple of grains and sometimes forget all together.  In coffee I have gone from two teaspoon sugar to less than one teasppon stevia eqivialent.  I thought I didn't get the same enjoyment from it as I wasn't hanging out for that coffee when I realized it is the sugar addition that has gone and making me want that coffee.  Tonight I am going to try the Jarrah chocolate which is 2g sugar.  The dick smith chocolate drink is 65% and that now makes me shudder.  There maybe an end in sight.  I can now watch people eat chocolate in front of me and I don't drool anymore.

Looking after parents for 4 weeks and can't wait to weigh myself at home.  I couldn't be bothered to conver stone to KG but its going down slowly.

    Keep it going folks
