    Hi David,

I seem to remember reading in your first book that what is on the NIP under sugars can be halved for the amount we are allowed to have (ie half is the fructose and the other glucose), is this correct.  I have read both books twice now and don't want to go through the first one again unless I have to to find this out.

So if the NIP says 6gms per 100 we could take it as 3 ???????

    Regards

    Margaret

PS:  Hope this isn't too dumb!!

Margaret - yep fructose is generally half the amount on the sugars section of the label (except dairy where you must subtract 5g per 100 for the lactose before halving).  If you keep everything you eat under 3g (OF TOTAL SUGARS) per 100g and everything you drink at 0g per 100g (except milk which should be at 5g per 100) then you will be fine.

    Cheers

    David.
