    David,

Do you have any data relating to the sugar content & types in alcoholic drinks? I like a little white wine or whiskey before dinner, and a glass of red with it. Plus an occasional beer at lunchtime.  Just want to know if it's killing me . . .  the fructose that is :-)

    Regards

I'm on day 2 and also like a wine or 2 at night to relax after work.  The book says 1 or 2 glasses a week of dry white wine so I was wondering how much sugar is in white wine as there certainly isn't anything on the label to indicate.  Is there a rule of thumb per glass I could apply?

RE: wine,  I think it is because of the grapes that you should limit yourself because grapes are in the higher group for fruit.

From memory, the book says that red wine and neat spirits in moderation is fine.  Spirits can also be mixed with no sugar (diet) mixers if you're into that.  Can't remember about white wine, but I recall that dessert wines are to be avoided.
