Can anyone suggest a great tasting substitute to Oak flavoured strawberry milk?

I have tried using milk, dextrose, and strawberry essence, however the strawberry essence doesn't seem to work (the dextrose is fine).  It is either extremely mild or too chemically if I add more.

I am very much missing my strawberry flavours.  I have had a few fresh strawberries from my garden but don't want to have too many of them as they are not the best fruit in the fruit table.

Has anyone found a fructose-free strawberry flavoured syrup anywhere, or similar?

Any help would be appreciated.
