How long was your journey to your goal weight?
What did you do when you had plateaus of no weight loss other than cut out carbs?
What, if any, extra exercise did you add to your normal routine?
Did you take regular body measurements along the way?

I cannot see these questions answered in your book so it would be helpful to hear from you on these issues please!

Maybe we could have a separate topic stream to help in this area - weight loss expectations and helps??

    Many thanks

Bev ... I think what I will do is start up a FAQ thread (as soon as I get my head around how to do that) .. but on you questions, here goes:

It took me about a year to lose the 40kgs (so somewhat less than 1kg per week).

The only thing I did to move off plateaus was to cut carbs for a cuple of weeks (usually to very very low levels).

    I didn't do any exercise

The only measurements I took were weighing myself (usually about once a week) and noticing my pants being too big (I went from a 44 waist to a 34 waist).

    Cheers

    David.
