Hi I'm a newbie here and was wondering if anyone has developed gallstones after going sugar free? I'm a bit worried because I'm finding myself eating more fatty foods that I used to shy away from. Thanks.

I don't know. Maybe you should ask your GP. Have you had a history of gallstones? In relation to eating fats, once your appetite-control system is working again {soon after quitting fructose],  you will not want to eat more fat than your body needs at that time. You'll get that "couldn't eat another mouthful" feeling at the end of every meal. So unless you have some predisposition to gallstones I don't think you'd be at risk.

The first half of this article makes sense: https://www.healthhype.com/gallstones-diet-foods-to-avoid-for-gallstone-prevention.html. But the second half seems a bit over the top. What's left to eat? :-)
