    What really matters is that the "sugars" content is less no greater than 2% (except yoghurt 7%) and the same 2% for polyunsaturated fats.  

    Don't worry about the fat content. Once your appetite-control system is working again you will not want more fat than your body needs at that time.

    I have all of Davids books read them and get really motivated but it dosent last.  I drink Coffee without sugar and full fat milk.  Don't have sugar in any drinks but I do like chocolate and lollies these are my downfall.  I would love to be sugar free but have no wilpower

    The only significant criteria are that in the Nutritional Information Panel both "sugars" and "polyunsaturated fat" should be a maximum of 2% or 2 grams per 100 grams. 

    What are you saying to yourself at the point that you succumb to temptation? Maybe you need to talk to a counselor. Cold turkey is not easy, but it's not that difficult either. And staged withdrawal is easier but harder to maintain.
