I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before - but I thought it deserved mentioning again! I had to order this online and none of the supermarkets or health food stores around here had it in stock but apprently other Coles (just not ours) stock it in the health food section. It's made of glucose and maltose, which according to http://sweetpoison.wikidot.com/maltose, is broken down into glucose. It tastes almost exactly like honey!!! My kids are very happy to have 'honey' back on the menue for their toast and weekend pancakes! I'm pretty happy to have it back for cooking and other sweet treats. It even looks like honey!
For those how are just starting out and looking for alternatives, especially ones that will win over the less then enthusiastic converts, this is a must :)
