    Hi,
I am new to the sugar free lifestyle and I think my family and I have been doing pretty well. Only occasionally do I crave a bit of choccy and the kids would enjoy a choccy treat occasionally too. You can imagine how pleased I was to recently discover sugar free dark chocolate! http://vitalitybrands.com/well-naturally/nutrition-facts/sugar-free-chocolate-rich-dark
I have both of Davids books, both of which are currently on loan to friends, and I was wondering if this little find was ok, I am not entirely sure about polydextrose or if it was on the bad substitute list. They taste very nice but after a few pieces I have had enough and do not need to keep eating any more. This in itself is a far cry from the sugar addicted chocoholic I was 6 weeks ago and I am amazed. I am interested to see what you all think.
    Kind regards
    Elecia

I looked this up. It seems that polydextrose is 89% glucose, 10% sorbitol and 1% citric acid. Sorbitol is a sugar alcohol.

Those bars also contain trace amounts of trans fats, so I personally would avoid them.
