Sandra, here is a site that will tell you all about soy. You can also explore some of the research they quote, if you wish.  Link here:-

I found Norganics, under Freedom Foods, link here:

I wonder which method they use to get the soy to be healthy for us unsuspecting Westeners?

    Good luck with it all.

Mayo is really easy to make yourself, lots of recipes on the net.  I used to make sweet chilli mayo, but now that is out, going to try mango mayo tomorrow, got myself a fresh mango, going to add some chilli and corriander and lime juice and an egg and oil.  Only takes a few mins to make.  You can use mustard instead of mango, try your own flavours!! YUM!

Lisa, did you know that half a mango has 16.2 grams of sugar in it? or is that fructose, read this link here:-

    http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2011/08/13/many-restaurants-underestimate-calories-in-their-dishes.aspx

I looked again & that's 16.2 grams of FRUCTOSE in it. I was shocked!!

So I decided to look at the Food Standards website, and they say per 100 grams, there is 11.2 grams of sugars.  So I guess the first site is suspect, especially when you read how the Food standards got to their results.  Link here:-

    http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/consumerinformation/nuttab2010/nuttab2010onlinesearchabledatabase/onlineversion.cfm?&action=getFood&foodID=06D10404

So I guess it's ok, your call, as long as you don't use too much at a time. My fave thing with mangos is mango chutney to have with Indian foods, yummm..

I guess whoever gave us the Dr Mercola link (Jas, I think it was) might want to re-think it all, as he is selling his products, I think it's up to us to be wary of such people's claims, unless backed up by research.

Good luck with the mayo, Lisa.
