Do you like Arnott's Shapes? Why not try a small handful of these?

Just keep on reading those labels. you are not dumb, in fact quite savvy, I thought.

I like a nibble with my preprandial glass of wine. I follow David's advice not to worry about the fat content, just the sugar. So I  pick plain potato or rice chips, and one or other of the biscuit-like products such as shapes, peckish, etc often with a bit of cream cheese if they are not flavoured. And nuts for a change.

Sounds good, John, keep that up and you will continue to lose weight, that is, if you want to.  lol  I'll be glad when I can see who is talking to who here, there is obviously a glitch somewhere & we are all anonymous!!

    What a hoot!!

Well, I am anther year older now. On Census night too!!  My DB made me a snack fish n'chips, about 90 minutes before our usual dinner time. He was to make me my second fave dinner, which is lambs fry n'bacon, WITH onion gravy as well!!!  Mash peas, carrots & steamed broccoli, YUMMMMMOOOOH.....but we weren't hungry after our snack, so he's gonna make it for me tonight. I don't mind making it myself, if he'll take off the fine skin for me & slice it. I just dip in a fine coating of seasoned flour, then put in the frypan after half frying the bacon, so it's frying in bacon fat & a little oil. The flour gives it a little crust, (not crispy) and the flour helps thicken the gravy. We like it 'just' cooked on the inside. So it's very pale pink, by the time you actually serve & eat, it's not pink any more. But just tender. Oh my, I haven't had it for about 3 years, am I looking forward to my deferred Birthday dinner!! My mouth is watering & I'm very hungry. Didn't have a big lunch, a hard boiled egg & a slice of cheese & a cuppa soup. I was working in the front garden from 8am till 2pm, what a laugh, front garden. We live in a villa, so there is no front garden, just one bed with a Brunfelsia in it. That's a Yesterday, today & tomorrow for those that don't know!!  I'm surprised I remembered the name myself hehe.....I've not weeded it since we moved in 5 years ago!!!  I couldn't kneel down 'cos of my bad knee, but after losing 14 kilos, I found that as long as I knelt on a cushion (2, in a plastic bag!) it was ok. Getting up wasn't so hard as it used to be, either, so am I glad I lost that weight? You betcha!!!  So I am chilling out now in front of the computer waiting for my cook to return home. He had to go to TAFE in the morning, then to a Govt Physio/Psychologist person in the afternoon.

Better stop talking now, don't want to bore you'all!!  haha

    Be positive......
