I found 2 great cereals in Coles natural foods section that are sugar free, which makes it nice and easy when you need a quick breakfast.  I've tried them both and quite enjoyed them both, but I've always liked cinnamon.

The first one is Wholeflakes by Artisse Organic - Cinnamon Spelt Flakes.  Less than 1g of sugar per 100g, contains wholegrain organic spelt, organic wheat bran, organic corn flour, organic oat fibre, organic cinnamon, organic barley malt extract and sea salt.  It's around $5 for 300 grams, so didn't think this was too bad.  They have another cereal which is made on agave, but it's 20% sugar.

The other one is by Food for Health - The Fibre Cleanse Muesli.  They also do a Liver Cleansing one that seems ok too but I haven't tried that one.  It has 2.4g sugar per 100g.  Contains Organic rolled oats, oatbran, psyllium, linseeds, almonds, rice bran, linseed meal, sunflour seeds, lecithin, cinnamon, magnesium chelate and slippery elm.  Great if you need to get things moving!  This one is approx $7.95 for 500g.

Couldn't find either of these in Woolworths, in fact, the only cereal in the Woolworths Naytura aisle to be sugar free was the Liver Cleanse Muesli by Food for Health.

Kristin, I bought the one from Woollies, their new brand called Macro. This one is Natural Untoasted muesli.

No added fruit. 800 gram pack...... Ingredients are Rolled Oats 35%, Triticale Flakes, sesame seeds, Almonds (they are whole) Barley flakes, Pepitas, Rice flakes and sunflower seeds. It shows 1.6 grams of sugars per 100 grams. and only 2mg of sodium (salt)....I really like it, can't remember how much it was, and have filed (a loose word) the till tape in the bureau, so would take me some time to find it, but was under $5 or I wouldn't have bought it. I also like the Carman's fruit free Muesli, but it does have more sugar, and the almonds aren't whole!!  Which is a good thing, given the state of my teeth....lol....

Good to know that the supermarkets are listening somewhat to their customers. I have to admit to occasionally having a small bowl of this with warm milk, & a dash of cream on top as an after dinner snack. Not often, just now & then......I've run out of almonds, so may have some tonight.!!!
