Goaties chocolate snacks

I just found a page of fructose-free recipes here and was intrigued by the chocolate chip cookies which use a product called 'Goaties'. Looking this up, I found these:

Goaties - natural goats' milk mini snacks (15 pieces) - Chocolate Flavour

I presume this is what the recipe uses- they look like chocolate buttons, but the ingredients are goats milk powder, glucose powder, other ingredients: glucose powder, magnesium stearate, silica, natural colours and flavours.

I wondered if anyone has tried these, and what they taste like? I would love to try fructose-free chocolate chip cookies but my chocolate recipe would not hold up under the cooking process (it barely holds up out of the fridge as the cocoa butter melts too easily).
If these are kind of chocolat-y I might give them a go!

    Hi Jemma,
I saw that same recipe and had the same idea, so I ordered some (5).  Firstly, they were out of stock, so they sent me 3, not 5 and gave me a partial refund.  Secondly, they cost about $2.50 for a tiny little packet weighing only 10grams.  Thirdly, they taste revolting!  They might be better in a recipe, but I think I'll go with out thanks very much.  Still have 2 and 3/4 packets to get rid of somehow (maybe the dog).  Have my hopes pinned on the German Frusano chocolate that is probably on the ocean somewhere now.

    Hope that helps :-)

I agree, I ordered chocolate and strawberry and they're horrible. They taste like the powdered milk we used to feed the calves blah! Even the kids wouldn't eat them to start with, although now they may eat them out of the cupboard every now and then. I certainly won't be buying any more once these run out. I had such high hopes for them too since David seemed to love them :(
