Anybody have any comments about xylitol. I have been using it as a substitute in my tea and coffee, and for me the best substitute taste wise. It claims a GI of only 7.

Brenton, Hi,....I researched this ages ago, and the only reason I don't use it is that it's expensive!! I use Natvia, which is also expensive, but not so much.

It's ok as a sugar substitute, but you sound like me, I can't drink my coffee without something in it!!  I only have one cup per day, plus a cocoa on about 4 -5 evenings, mostly I drink plain cold water. Just don't like coffee without sweetness in it.  I can drink green tea (Jasmine flavour) without sugar, but not black tea, (I have Earl Grey).  But I only really like the green tea after a meal, usually Chinese!!  lol

So, I think you're ok......how's the new way of life going BTW?

    Cheers
