I have just read both books and have had one week as sugar free as I have been for years. I successfully was sugar free for 12 months in 1989. Things I have noticed are:
Feel emotional, irritable, agitated, restless
Feel clearer in my mind, thinking is clearer
Not as hungry as I expected
tired at the beginning of the week but more energy today.
Dreaming vividly, nightmares, restless sleep.
Sharing my daily food with a friend which is helping enormously.
