Hi! I didn't know where to post this topic so put it here as seems to be the most used one. I came across this while poking around the net. Found it very interesting, "146 Reasons Why Sugar Is Ruining Your Health by Nancy Appleton, Ph.D., www.nancyappleton.com, author of Lick The Sugar Habit". States, "In addition to throwing off the body's homeostasis, excess sugar may result in a number of other significant consequences. The following is a listing of some of sugar's metabolic consequences from a variety of medical journals and other scientific publications."

     Found at: - http://www.healingcancernaturally.com/sugar-health-effects-risks.html

    And also at:- http://nancyappleton.com/

The article is quite long but worth a look. Each point is numbered and there are notes at the end giving 96 references for information noted.

Wonder what anyone thinks about it.

I think I am going to the library to get that book I think I would like to read more sugars are definately not good for us, so just need to find away to completely cut them out.  I am interested to read about fruit and vegetables so I hope there is a section in the book. I think it is back to basics regarding food.............and a lot more water drinking.
