Quite a few months ago I decided that sugar was my problem food-and since I wanted to shift some weight decided to give up, as much as possible, sugar and foods containing added sugars.  Have lost 13 kg over 6 months- feeling much better and even when no weight loss evident on the scales others continue to comment on size changes. Fantastic but even better now when I happened to see this book in a newspaper.  Only been a member for a couple of hours...already read most of the topics here and keen to read the book.  Know that I am a sugar addict- one jelly bean will set me off to eat an entire bag...so don't even buy them anymore!! This will help me to get back onto it I KNOW!!!

Hi again, forgot to say that I am a 57 yr old female, live in Wollongong area of NSW, and have been both very large (and very occassionally) normal weight since was young. Over the years have tried every diet and diet program, hypnosis, exercise/gym that was available. Can go from an  Ideal weight to obese weight on the tables in under 3 years. Just gave away all of the very large clothes, as know in my head being able to find clothes in the wardrobe that fit as the weight goes back on has made it too easy in the past. This time it is staying off!!
