I decided to try this as my husband (who has had diabeties for some years) has now been put on insulin. I don't know if you are able to stop using insulin once you start so maybe someone will be able to tell me. We could both benefit from less sugar and hopefully a little bit of weight loss as well. I bought from Woolies today some brewers sugar which shows the ingredients as dextrose, maltodextrin so hope this is OK.If not would someone please advise me. I am not very good with counting calories, working out sugars etc. so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks Catherine
