Weighing in at 82kg, 12 weeks after reading David's "Eating Plan" book I have lost 8kg; it has been so easy and I'm very happy with my new shape. Previously I would eat a bag of clinkers at one sitting; cakes, lollies and chocolate biscuits were part of my everyday fare. I'm pleased to say my cupboards now only contain foods that fit in with my new eating plan. Surprisingly, I didn't experience any discernible withdrawal effects. Now, around lunch time each day, my tummy begins to rumble (I became aware that it had been a long time since I'd heard and felt that particular sensation - I actually felt hungry!!) and I stop work and eat lunch. On reflection, I realised that for many years, a feeling of light-headedness between 1-2pm had been the usual signal that I needed to eat lunch and after consuming a "healthy" !!!!! breakfast that used to consist of fruity muesli covered with grape juice, rather than milk, I now recognise that my body was calling for its next sugar hit. No more is light-headedness a part of my experience; now it's just natural hunger. I don't enjoy exercising thus haven't undertaken any extra during the past months. However, I have noticed my ability to walk quickly (in shopping centres and strips) when required, is much improved, no doubt due to not having to carry the 8kg load of fat which was previously attached. Thank you David for your book, it has been a revelation to me and one which just keeps on giving (or should that be taking?)

Welcome to the forum, Jan, and congrats on loosing that much weight. I started last September, and have lost 14 kilos, slowly, and surely. I, too haven't been doing any extra exercise, to my shame. Thus I haven't lost my belly fat, in fact, I feel like I have put more on in that place!!

I wish you much satisfaction in your endeavours, you go girl!!

    Blessings
