Read Sweet Poison in January after my Type 2 Diabetes husband bought it for me for Christmas.  Started being fructose free in February.  Have always been good weight and fit, have watched what I ate but at 45 I just kept on putting on weight.  I was at 82kg in February by August I am around 69 kg - perfect weight for height - after trying low fat diets, exercise, small portions etc for the last few years.  My weight just fell off - I got to eat all my favourites - potatoes, bread, pasta, rice, cream, butter, full-cream milk and just keep losing weight.  I love it - thanks David for your books they have helped alot to explain a lot of things.  My husband is slowly controlling his sugar levels and slowly losing weight - he says he feels better everyday.

Wow!  That is so motivating for someone new [me!!]  If possible, could you write down what you have for breakfast/lunch/dinner in a normal week?  I'd love to see what you're actually eating to achieve such great success.  Well done !!!  Envious to say the least & hope to follow in your amazing footsteps. :-)))

Me too Margaret!!!  Very interested to know what exercise you do & how much as well.  I am currently stuck, but am not exercising, either, even tho' I have lost 14 kilos.

But, as I always say, fructose free is not a diet, it's a way of life.

Good luck to everyone who is fructose free, or just starting.
