Legumes and pulses??

    Hi, I just finished reading sugar-free diet and have started to reduce intake of sugar. I am wheat and lactose intolerant so it will be a challenge putting recipes together. Any advice? I have decided I will forgo soy milk. 
    Could you please advise if beans, chickpeas, lentils etc are okay. What about tahini and hummos? I have enjoyed earlier posts. Best wishes to all. Elaine

    Elaine, the paleo diet (google it) is essentially a way of eating that is devoid of processed foods, dairy and grains. There are 370 gazillion paleo recipes on the internet. ;-)

    Whether you eat legumes etc is up to you, lots of us are not eating those foods due to carb content and other reasons, but it's not a part of the Sweet Poison issue. Just make sure you check the sugar content of all the packaged stuff.
