Hi I am Tina started on Monday after seeing it on Today Tonight or A Current Affair.  Everyone was talking about it at work on Friday.  We have a company lunch.

I new 20 years ago that sugar was addictive but was waiting for something to come along so I could still eat sweet things and lose weight.  Well we all know that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

I have been on every diet for the last 40 years and just sick of it but next week I go back to my doctor and will probably have to go onto Insulin.  I wanted to have the Endo Barrier operation being offered for Type II Diabetics but as the procedure is very new only one doctor in Australia is performing it at the moment and I did not meet the critera.    It is just another crutch like the lap band I had for 7 years and stuffed that up so bad when it became lose couldn't have another because to much damage to that area.

So, yes I am addicted and as all addictions it will be hard to stop but I will try.  The more information on the forum the better.  When I had my Lap Band I was on that forum and it was invaluable.

I work full time have 4 dogs, 6 birds, and 83 year old mother and the baby of them all my husband so all you investigating will make so easy for me, so I thank you all from the beginning.

    Tina
