Wondering how much nuts, chips and similar all without sugar is allowed to be eaten a day.
    Also are crumpets acceptable.
Would appreciate answers to above questions.

    Hi Pauline

I think its personal preference I used nuts quite  a bit for snacking in the early days an still keep them handy now, potato chips are hard because of the oil thing so we have them as a treat only.
Crumpets are okay just check them for the sugar content cos they all vary.

    Cheers Debra

If there's no sugar in them ( and a lot of chips have sugar ), and you don't care about 'big fat lies', then anything is OK. Of course, really you should be aiming to get to a point where you rarely snack, which just means you need to think about if you are hungry, or just in the habit.  For me, the thing that I responded to most, was the idea of not always being drawn to the snack drawer, and within 3 days, I just didn't feel like it anymore, I felt full.  That's not a challenge, we're all different and I think I got there in record time.  But, certainly if weight loss is part of the goal, then limiting snacks has to be part of the solution.

I will confess that if I DO feel like a snack, a crumpet is one of my preferred choices :-)
