    is it ok to drink diet cordial and

    sugar free liptons iced tea

    water gets a bit boring

    Check the ingredients listing . . . probably nasty sweeteners in place of sugar.

    Also cordial probably feeds the habit. Just give up on sweet stuff and after a week or two you won't like it or want it any more.

    And as David says, if water or tea doesn't satisfy then you  aren't really thirsty.

    I drink carbonated water and squeeze lemon in it.  I prefer it to any diet drinks, now.

    I'am fine without the crodials etc, but my hubby is not ready to give it up just yet, and I'am trying to wean him off it and thought about making my own, using the hole fruit, lemon or orange boiled in water and some sweetner, I use "Natvia" would that be OK.

    Coles have a  sugar free drinks range (Mineral water) and also cordial sweetened with I think stevia.
    I use it sparingly, makes great icy poles

    You just need to be aware of the artificial sweeteners used. See P170 of Sweet Poison Quit Plan
