Is there anyone who drinks A2 milk on the forum?  I am trying it to see if I can tolerate it as normal dairy gives me migraines.  I also cannot tolerate the lactose but have discovered lacteese tablets which elleviates that problem.  Crossing my fingers the A2 will work for me.  I do wonder though why the sugar content is what it is.  I know lactose makes up 4.7g per 100ml so that accounts for some of it.  Where is the other 0.3 from???? Here is the nutrition panel.  Ingredients lists only milk.

In my understanding A2 and A1 (normal) milk are exactly the same, except for a slightly different casein (protein) molecule. Apparently the A1 molecule in normal milk is the product of a natural mutation which is present in most modern commercial milk cows, and is blamed for various health problems, including an opiate like effect in susceptible people.

The sugar and fat etc should be the same as for any other milk, ie lactose and saturated animal fat.

In addition to the lactose, there is also a very small amount of glucose, galactose, and other oligosaccharides, which why lactose doesn't make up the full 100%. There isn't any fructose, unless its added artifically (ie in flavoured milk)

I don't know about the benefits of A2 milk - a Google search shows a lot of debate. But the sugar content looks OK except for the fact that "sugars" is not defined.

I couldn't find an analysis on the internet. If you have a dig around here you may find an answer:
