I have just finished reading Big Fat Lies and have been searching for these potato crisps cooked in olive oil. Red rock deli was one that David reccomended but looking at them they are also cooked in vegatable oil, can someone help?  Thankyou.

"Vegetable oil" can mean canola oil or palm oil or a number of other oils. If the ingredients list doesn't tell you you can have a dig around here http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/search/?keywords=red+rock+deli  You could also ring the manufacturer.

This web site is a mine of information on foods in Australia and, I think, New Zealand.

We have been told by other members that the good chips (using Palm Oein oil) are Select Plain or rippled and Red Rock Deli Plain Sea Salt. Both are very nice but Woolworth Select are cheaper.
