I have been fructose free since Boxing Day, ( following a reasonably gradual decrease over the previous four weeks), and within a few days I noticed that white wine ( chardonnay, sav blancs I have tried so far) taste like yucky sugary syrup. Other foods ( eg blueberries) haven't changed as drastically, so I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this? And if so, is there a really dry wine that might taste 'normal'? I'm not too worried about it now though, as I just add about 30ml to a glass of chilled soda water and makes a very refreshing spritzer!
