    Hi Freda and John

I have found the whole calculation part of being fructose free the hardest part of my new way of eating, but it is getting easier the more I read and get advise, so thank you very much for your help!

I tend to agree that the best way to do this is to start listening to my body and not eat when I don't need to. In fact today is the first time that I found that actually didn't need to eat dinner. I've only been fructose free for 1 month and over this initial period I have stayed off fruit all together and just relied on fructose from veggies and small amts from other foods such as nuts. I used to be a 'fruitaholic' but now find that I don't miss it at all (especially the bloating that I got after eating it).

    I really appreciate your help!

    Cheers
    Alex
