I have been FF for 6 weeks now, losing weight, most of withdrawal signs gone and appetite reducing. BUT I sing in 2 choirs and sometimes need something to suck on when at practice or singing in a concert as I am very prone to getting a dry throat and tickly cough....unfortunately the ingredients on vocalzone the ones I usually use list both sucrose and glucose along with liquorice extract, the other possibles I know of have liquorice extract as the top ingredient. I am sure both of those are a no no as liquorice extract is likely to be a glyceract.
So does anyone have any idea about some sort of lozenge that is acceptable or whether I can get away with the odd one (got headaches last time I tried) because I don't want to stop singing.

    thanks

I was in the health food shop one day and came across Bioglan Throat Clear Eucalyptus & Menthol Herbal losenges, you may be able to buy them at the Chemist as well, they don't contain any sugar or sweetener what so ever.  They work pretty well, they are a type of pastel and come in a pack of 20 however they cost $10.
