This (soon to be published) study suggests there is an association between sugar consumption and asthma: http://www.thepcrj.org/journ/aop/pcrj-2010-03-0024-R1.pdf - my pet theory is that because fructose decreases nitric oxide production (a muscle relaxant) - it results in the constriction experienced in asthma ... but its just a theory - even so a few folks have written to tell me that asthma is gone!

    Cheers
