Hi, I am just about to start the sugarfree journey. I would love to hear some comments by any sugar free vegetarians out there. Did you struggle with meal choices? I am a bit worried I am going to get sick of eating the same foods over and over. The book does not mention seafood. I assume it is okay as it does not contain sugar...does anyone have any comments on this?

My in laws are vegetarian so I know a little about it, but even though you don't eat meat there is still plenty of choice.  Do you still eat dairy products?  If you do then you can still have cheese, milk and eggs and yoghurt (natural of course).  With eggs there is plenty of choice, poached, scrambled or even a quiche.  You are still able to eat sandwiches and even wraps so load them up with cheese and salads.  Tofu doesn't have any sugar, however watch out for the Sanitarium range of Vegie Delights as according to their website (they have a list of all their range http://www.sanitarium.com.au/products/vegetarian/vegie-delights-chilled) some of it contains sugar so make sure you checked the ingredient list.  As for seafood, I would think it would be in the same category as other meats and should be good to eat.  Just watch any sauces you put on the seafood, as some or most will contain sugar.
