I lost 4.5 kgs in the first 4 weeks of being fructose-free. Then for the past 6 weeks nothing. I have about 8-10kgs still to lose for my BMI to be at the top of the healthy range, and looking at me I could obviously lose more weight.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Hello Jennifer
I seem to remember David saying somewhere that to kick start weight loss again, he recommends trying a low carb diet for a few weeks. He said that keeping on a low carb diet for a long time is very hard because it gets boring having bacon and eggs for breakfast for too long.
So, maybe try a bit of Atkins for a while. You don't get hungry because it's quite high in fat and that makes you feel comfortably full.
And this has certainly worked for me when I stop losing weight and I agree it is disheartening when one starts off so well!
Whatever you do, though, don't start counting calories, that can make you obsess over food and also can make you feel hungry all the time.
Good luck with it.
cheers
