    Hi David, and everyone.

I have been reading through the posts and noticed alot of people are concerned about not losing weight or their weight loss stopping.

Most of the advice seems to be people going on low carb diets. I was under the impression that if one elimates fructose, one of the side effects will be weightloss. Is it also neccessary to eat a low carb diet? I hate those words : (

I wouldn't say its necessary Bree ... just that sugar free can sometimes take a while to get the weightloss going and can plateau at times.  Some people like to give it a nudge and low carb seems to be the way to do it.  If you are like me, then you won't be able to stand that for long, but as long as you stay fructose free when you go back to eating carbs ... the weight loss seems to continue ...

    Cheers

    David.

    Hi Bree,

Yes, I agree with David. As long as you stay fructose free the weigth seems to stay off. My weight loss stopped for a while (but I did not regain any). Then I cut back on the carbs and started dropping the weight again.
