Hi, I'm wondering about using Carnation milk. I have avoided using it for baking and cooking as the tin label says sugar content is 12.6g per 100ml. But I've just realized the contents does not say sugar, so that would mean the actual 12.6g would be lactose. Is this correct? Also would this be the same with buttermilk?  I'd appreciate your input. Thanks Deborah

Evaporated milk is ok, condensed milk is not.
